We know that families who choose Cambridge School share a commitment with us to invest in their children’s education. We are appreciative of how each family works diligently to be a part of our community, and we have a strong desire to provide assistance to families who demonstrate financial need. Over the years, Cambridge has remained committed to distributing approximately 10% of its annual tuition income in need-based financial aid. Because our tuition costs remain lower than most schools, our financial aid budget is also similarly lower. We invite current families and generous donors to consider how they can be a part of investing in a Cambridge education for more children.
Therefore, within the parameters of our financial aid budget, Cambridge strives to provide assistance for enrolled students who demonstrate financial need. Financial aid awards are determined through a careful analysis of a family’s complete financial situation, including all available sources of funds to contribute to their children’s education. In order for us to allocate our limited resources wisely, we partner with FACTS Grant and Aid in our financial aid process.
To determine financial aid awards, FACTS Grant and Aid provides Cambridge with objective reports on each family’s financial situation, providing the starting point in the decision making process. Applications are reviewed by a Financial Aid Committee, which determines the allocation of financial aid resources based upon a number of factors, with the primary factor being the available budget for the upcoming academic year.
Financial Aid Applications* for the 2025-2026 school year will be available on October 1, 2024. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 20, 2024.
*Cambridge School encourages and welcomes applications from students without regard to race, color, religion, or national origin and does not discriminate in its admissions and educational policies, financial aid programs and other school-administered extracurricular activities. Financial aid will be awarded on the basis of financial need and the school's desire to include within the student body children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
